Mr. Ravi Mehra
Chairman

Mr. Ravinder Mehra is the Chairman of Uniproducts (India) Limited. He is also promoter cum Chairman of Darrameks Hotels & Developers Private Limited which owns the Taj Rishikesh Resort & Spa, Rishikesh operated by Indian Hotel Company Ltd. Being a resident of Canada, he is also promoter cum Chairman of Universal Paper Export Co. Ltd., headquartered in Montreal, Canada. He was previously, also a member of the board of the State Bank of India (Canada).

Dr. Ashwan Kapur
Managing Director

Dr. Ashwan Kapur is the Managing Director of Uniproducts (India) Limited. He is also a Director at Juken Uniproducts Pvt Ltd and Darrameks Hotels & Developers Pvt Ltd, group companies. He received his doctorate in Textile Engineering from the University of Leeds. He was also honoured by The Textile Institute, Manchester, with the Fellowship of the Institute in 1992 at the age of 35. He holds the distinction of being one of the youngest to receive the award. After returning to India he jointly promoted Uniproducts (India) Limited and pioneered the setting up of the first fully integrated nonwoven plant to manufacture a wide range of needle-punched and dry-laid consumer durables and industrial products. One of Dr. Kapur's notable achievements has been the development of needle-punched jute carpets, which are both durable and aesthetically attractive.

He has also developed jute-based NVH components used in cars, for which he has received appreciation from the Ministry of Textiles, UNDP, & the automobile industry. Dr. Kapur has presented several technical papers in both national and international seminars on various aspects of non-woven technology and has also served on the Advisory Committee of the Textile Department of the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi. He has also acted as an external examiner of M. Tech and Ph. D at the IIT, Delhi and Mumbai University.

Mr. Sunil Pahilajani
Whole Time Director

Mr. Sunil Pahilajani is the CEO of Uniproducts (India) Limited. Mr. Sunil Pahilajani is an engineer from IIT, Roorkee and has extensive multi-disciplinary experience of over 36 years in leading manufacturing companies with locations both in India and overseas. Mr. Sunil Pahilajani has held senior positions in various Companies such as Maruti Udyog Limited, Hongo India, Mahindra Navistar Engines as well as Caparo India where he held the positions of MD, CEO and Board Member. He also excelled in setting up green field projects for other Companies such as SE Forge Ltd.

Mr. S.L. Kapur
Director

Mr. S. L. Kapur is a non-executive director of Uniproducts (India) Limited. He is a retired I.A.S. officer. As Secretary to the Government of India, he was responsible for bringing significant foreign investment in food and processing industries. He helped in bringing Scotch whiskeys and other liquors to the Country. He has worked as a Consultant and Adviser to a number of International Development Agencies like UNIDO, UNDP and World Bank. He has also advised a number of foreign countries like Sri Lanka, Mauritius and Nigeria for setting up investment and administrative structures and systems. He worked as a Director and Chairman of Yes Bank for 8 years from 2005 to 2013.

Mr. A.P. Gandhi
Director

Mr. A. P. Gandhi is a non-executive director of Uniproducts (India) Limited. He holds degree in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology. He has held top leadership positions in prestigious organizations such as TELCO, Escorts Ltd and Bhartia Cutler Hammer, where he was CEO for three years. At Hyundai Motors India Ltd, he had a successful tenure as President.

Mr. Gandhi subsequently became the Non-Executive Chairman of FAG Bearing India Ltd. He is also on the Board of several prestigious companies such as Lumax, Minda and others. He is actively involved in developing Indo Korean ties and holds the position of Secretary General of India-Republic of Korea Friendship Society.

Mr. Alwyn Didar Singh
Independent Director

Dr. Alwyn Didar Singh is an independent director of Uniproducts (India) Limited. Dr. Singh is a former Indian civil servant and Secretary General of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). Prior to this, he was Member (Finance), National Highways Authority of India, Department of Road Transport and Highways at New Delhi. He has also served as Joint Secretary with the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Ministry of Commerce (Foreign Trade).

Mr. Arun Seth
Director

Arun Seth is a non - executive director of Uniproducts (India) Limited. He is also a Director at Juken Uniproducts Pvt Ltd, a group company. Mr. Seth holds a MBA degree from the University of Leeds, U.K. Mr. Arun Seth has vast experience in the field of administration and marketing and handling business matters both in India as well as overseas. His experience includes a stint with Intermagnetics (U.K.) Ltd., London, in Marketing, Sales, & Administration. In India, he worked with IBP before joining Uniproducts (India) Ltd. Mr. Arun Seth has previously served as a President of Uniproducts (India) Limited from 1984 to 2008.

Mrs. Archana Capoor
Independent Director

Mrs. Archana Capoor is an independent director of Uniproducts (India) Limited. She is a Member secretary and Project Director of the Indian Trust For Rural Heritage and Development (ITRHD), an NGO focused on preservation and restoration of heritage and culture in rural India through livelihood intervention. She has also worked as Financial consultant with Jet Airways (India) Ltd. She was also a member of National Tourism Policy Body for the formulation of policy and strategy at National level. She worked in HUDCO as Chief Finance and coordinated bilaterally funded infrastructure projects. She was also the CMD of Tourism Finance Corporation of India Ltd.

Mr. Arjun Mehra
Director

Mr. Arjun Mehra is a non-executive Director of Uniproducts (India) Limited. He is also the Managing Director of Darrameks Hotels & Developers Private Limited which owns the Taj Rishikesh Resort & Spa, Rishikesh operated by Indian Hotel Company Ltd. Mr. Mehra is a graduate of Canada's premier undergraduate business program. He graduated in 1994 from Queen's University with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours). In 1999, he received a master's degree from New York University's Graduate School of Journalism, amongst the most respected media schools in the world. After graduation he worked for several major news organizations, including FOX News (New York City, USA), the Associated Press (New York City, USA), and CTV News (Montreal, Canada). He also worked in the sales department of Universal Paper Export Co. Ltd., in Montreal, Canada.
